Description

Rare Irish reg. 323i E21 top of line spec with Baur factory conversion. Lots of work carried out in 2020 & garaged since. Good bodywork, roof and canvas, original alloys & has Recaro front Seats.

The BMW E21 was produced in the period from 1975 to 1983. The BMW E21 was originally only offered as a closed car however, BMW AG entered into a collaboration with the body factory BAUR to produce a convertible and in the period from 1978 to 1981 – 4. 595 units were thus manufactured/ rebuilt. Bauer TC-1 convertible
However only 1. 543 of the 6-cylinder model 323I were produced. like the Baur cabriolet
This is a particularly nice example of a BMW 323I Baur convertible from 1980.

All rust was treated  & the following were fitted to the car in 2020: New front suspension & steering bits, alternator, slave cylinder, starter, fuel pump etc. Blaupunkt subwoofer & 4 new Blaupunkt speakers. 4 speed gearbox is smooth, drives well & has lots of torque.
