The BMW M5 has long been the flagship sport saloon, and the E39 iteration produced during the BMW golden era of the 1990s and 2000s was peak BMW.

This 2000 example in the beautiful colour of Carbon Black is in beautiful condition throughout given its 134k miles.

The paintwork, with its blue tint, presents very well and the wheels have been refurbished in the correct original paint colour.

The interior feels special, too, with its two-tone black/grey fully electric and heated leather memory seats. Arguably, the most important feature, however, is the manual gearstick. Something that died with the BMW E39 generation of M5 and makes them so desirable today.

The legendary 4.9 V8 engine, regarded as one of BMW’s finest ever, starts with a burst of glorious V8 noise that comes from the upgraded exhaust, and the performance and driving experience are nothing short of epic.

Crucially, this car has a full service history and has just had a major service and new three-piece-clutch in our workshop and passed an NCT with flying colours.

This BMW M5 E39 is not the usual tired and abused example and is one of the finest on offer in Ireland right now.
