1983 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole

-Description:
Left hand drive (EU spec delivery) low millage example of Ferrari’s final version of the 308 model. Finished in silver with a black nappa leather interior. Powered by a mid-mounted 2.9-litre V8, four valve, which produces 240bhp. Rear wheel driven with the gated five-speed manual gearbox.

Factory equipment includes heating and ventilation controls, electric aerial, Blaupunkt radio cassette player, pouch-style door pockets, and electrically operated windows

Overall, the car features a nicely contrasting paint and interior finish. Low millage, high quality interior and under body are standout features of the cars overall condition.

-History:
This 308 GTS QV was manufactured in early 1983 and originally delivered to a European buyer. Several years later, it was exported to the United States, Pennsylvania. In 2015, DriverSource in Houston, Texas, came across the car. Its previous title, dated 2001, indicated that it had been in storage for approximately 14 years. Sold in 2015 to a UK collector who recognized its potential as a low millage, original EU specification example. The car was shipped to the UK and sent to Omega Motorsport where it underwent restoration and upgrades.

Today it is registered in Ireland following its purchase from the UK. It now benefits from a new nappa leather interior designed and fitted to OEM spec. Recent maintenance history includes new fuel pump reservoir, CV boots, fuse and relay upgrade. Last serviced in Sept 2024 with a respected specialist.
