Engine / Gearbox / Clutch:
The 3.4 M96 engine is in very good health. The car benefits from a massive history file and fully stamped service history showing it has been well cared for down through its life and yes, the IMS has been changed to the upgraded EPS unit. Due to this high level of maintenance I have not had to do very much to the 911 at all, the only work that’s been completed is a minor service last year with a specialist mechanic using genuine Porsche Parts including the Porsche Classic oil.

The engine itself pulls well right throughout the rev range with no burning of oil! In December 2021 the car was tested on the Rolling Road just to see the health and performance of the engine – it ran 308.6bhp, incredibly healthy when you consider factory new spec was supposed to be 300bhp.

The gearbox and LSD were rebuilt just before delivery of the car so they are like new, as well as the clutch kit being replaced in 2019 / 101k miles.

Exhaust:
One of the few modifications to this car are the exhaust backboxes which have been replaced with Dansk stainless steel units along with new genuine Porsche Tequipment tips. These give a lovely sound with zero drone – they just really emphasise the glorious flat 6 sound through the cabin slightly and more so from the outside.

Brakes:
All discs and pads were replaced in 2021 (circa 8k ago) and these continue to perform well. recently the callipers have been professionally painted red along with the correct Porsche logo stickers.

Wheels / Tyres:
The factory original staggered width 18” Sport Design 2-piece alloys are in great condition having been professionally refurbished in 2021. They are shod with correctly sized Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres which show good tread still left on them. I have fitted genuine Porsche 5mm wheel spacers all round to bring the wheels out to fill the arches a bit better – I think it gives a better, more GT3 like look.

Suspension:
Top mounts, bump stops, drop links, bearings and control arms all replaced in recent years so no creaks, no rattles, and everything works as it should. As can be seen from the photos, the car sits perfectly, the MO30 suspension really helping this by lowering it 10mm compared to a standard 911.

Bodywork:
The bodywork is in stunning condition all round and is a testament to its previous owners who have clearly cherished the car throughout its life. The Speed Yellow paint work has a deep shine and panel gaps and shut lines are perfect.

Interior:
Generally the interior is very good with only a few signs of normal wear & tear at the usual touch points. The black leather has been well cared for and the interior is a very cool place to be with the factory colour coding of the centre console, seatbelts and stitching in the seats. The other modification to the car is the installation of a SONY DAB radio.
